About Us

Frina’s Promise Wildlife Rescue is a New Jersey-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing orphaned, injured, and displaced native wildlife.
The name Frina comes from the cherished nickname of my late mother, whose love and compassion continue to inspire this mission every day. The dragonfly woven into our story represents my beloved sister, whose memory reminds us that love never truly leaves us.
We are also proud to be a veteran family-run organization. My husband, a retired veteran, is the backbone of Frina’s Promise. His dedication, hard work, and craftsmanship have helped create the safe housing and habitats our wildlife need to heal, grow, and prepare for release.
Every animal we help is cared for with compassion, respect, and the hope of returning it to the wild where it belongs. Thank you for supporting our family and helping us give wildlife a second chance.
Together, we are turning love, loss, and resilience into hope for wildlife.

Our Vision

Our vision is to create a safer future for New Jersey’s wildlife by helping people understand, respect, and protect the wild animals around them.

"Every wild animal deserves compassion, respect, and a chance to remain wild. We're here to help people protect the wildlife around them"

Our Team

Dehila

A New Jersey native, Dehlia’s devotion to animals started in childhood—from stopping to help turtles cross the road to reuniting lost pets and ducklings.

With over a decade of experience as an Animal Control Officer and extensive hands-on work alongside NJ State Certified Wildlife Rehabilitators, she has earned a reputation for her deep knowledge, compassion, and tireless dedication. Dehlia is a true warrior and voice for those who cannot speak for themselves, fighting to protect and advocate for every creature in need.

Tara

Growing up in New Jersey surrounded by all kinds of pets and farm animals, Tara learned early on that every creature deserves compassion and a voice.

Inspired by New Jersey’s rich wildlife, she serves as an advocate dedicated to helping humans and native animals peacefully coexist. As a passionate "wildlife warrior," Tara works to protect local animals while giving neglected and abandoned domestic pets the second chance they deserve.

Danielle

She has always had a deep love for animals, especially wildlife. Years ago, while spending time at her house upstate, she loved watching the wildlife that would often visit. Those simple moments helped deepen her appreciation for the wildlife living all around us.

Animals have always been a big part of her life. She has always felt drawn to caring for them, learning about them, and helping whenever possible. Over time, that love has only grown stronger, along with her desire to make a difference for animals that need a little extra help.
